Thank you to our supporters, Crux Climbing Center staff and volunteers who made “Be Empowered To Ascend” a smashing success!
Both sessions were completely filled on 12/03, as individuals with all abilities took on “The Canyon” at Crux South to kick off December. Top-rope-certified Volunteers showed up early to receive specialized training from Kristyn Olsen who oversees the adaptive climbing program. Access to specialized equipment and assistance from volunteers enabled all participants to climb at their own pace and comfort level. The teamwork and spirit of service amongst volunteers created a truly moving experience for all involved! John 13 Community is excited to continue collaborating with Crux Climbing Center next year as we aim to engage people of all abilities in meaningful activities within the community!
